In today’s market there are many MEP/FP challenges we come across when designing and it is the solution that we provided that enables us to have been in business for 25 years.
· Represent our Company in a profession and diligent manner at all times
· Establishing and maintaining strong working relationships with our clients, the design team,
state and local authorities, utilities and other organizations
· Attend all meetings with clients, project team, contractors, etc.
· Undertake and deliver high quality detailed engineering design for electrical building services
and power distribution systems, including calculations, analysis, schematics, drawings
diagrams, models, specifications and other documents required
· Review and management of project from inception to post construction duties
· Review plans with all disciplines to ensure the development of well-coordinated construction
documents
· Excellent knowledge of standards, regulations, guides and good practices
· Design low voltage power distribution, lighting, communications and telecommunication
systems
· Analyze engineering documents, layout systems to components and parts
· Read, interpret and prepare construction documents including drawings and specs
· Apply Electrical Code knowledge for building power distribution design and circuiting for
preparing reports, narratives and letters
· Participate or conduct value engineering with Architectural/Engineering Team
· Conduct site visits during design construction phase
· Good written and verbal communication skills
· Strong work ethic
· To have a knowledge of and compliance with BER procedures and standards
· At least 8 years of experience in building design engineering
· Proven ability to design electrical building services systems
· Experience of being a Lead Electrical Engineer for more than one project (required
involvement
from conception to construction and involved in construction administration including testing
and commissioning)
· Communicate and present in a professional manner, both written and verbally
· Use a variety of media in the development and documentation of a design project
· Excellent interpersonal skills, leadership and work well in a team
· Actively demonstrate initiative and ability to work independently under pressure to meet
deadlines efficiently
· A flexible and open attitude towards new ways of working and commit
· PE License
· Project Management with good financial acumen
· Experience in Education, Hospital, Mixed-Use, Commercial/Retail and Multi-Family Housing
projects
· Proficient in some of the following:
o AutoCAD
o Revit
o Microsoft Word
o Outlook

· Possess an understanding of materials, systems and commercial building construction with a
focus on electrical systems
· A willingness to take ownership of projects needs while serving a diverse client base with
technically interesting and challenging project needs
· Have an understanding of drafting principals and technology and can participate effectively in
the production of construction documents both independently and with a team effort
· Ability to relate to building construction, their components in three dimensions and interact
with other disciplines to coordinate all document efforts
· Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD current releases
· Experience in documenting building electrical systems
· Good written and verbal communication skills
· Strong work ethic
· To have a knowledge of and compliance with BER procedures and standards
· At least 2-5 years of experience in building electrical design systems using Revit and AutoCAD
· Basic knowledge and fundamental understanding of electrical systems (ex. power distribution,
lighting and fire alarm)
· Proven ability to design electrical building services systems
· Actively demonstrate initiative and ability to work independently under pressure to meet
deadlines efficiently.
· A flexible and open attitude towards new ways of working and commit
